As part of its move towards independence later this year, the Leeds Centre for Integrated Living now has an online database that personal care assistants or people interested in doing care work can use to advertise their services. The database is an introductory catalogue of PAs in Leeds. Clients who require a PA will be able to access the database and search for a PA that meets their requirements.

The CIL's own website is due to go live later this year, so in the meantime this database can be accessed through the Leeds PA Directory (http://www.padirectory.org/CIL_App.aspx). The application form should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete.

The Centre for Integrated Living, based in Armley, Leeds, supports people who require assistance to live independently, enabling them to enjoy the same level of freedom, choice, dignity and control as everyone else in the community. It does not mean living by yourself or fending for yourself. It means the right to practical assistance and support to participate in society and live an ordinary life.

All of the information you provide will go to make up your listing as a potential PA. Your information is only made available to Leeds Centre for Integrated Living employees and selected clients. It will not be sold or used for any purpose other than specified.
